WHAT MAKES SOUL FOOD WELLNESS DIFFERENT?
Our goals are simple and clear:
✔PROVIDE YOGA FOR ANY BODY
✔PROMOTE RELAXATION AND REDUCE STRESS
✔INSPIRE JOYFUL RELATIONSHIPS WITH FOOD
Our yoga classes and individual sessions are designed to meet you where you are at. We will provide supportive postures, breathing exercises, meditations, and practices that are both personal and practical.
At Soul Food Wellness, we believe the practice of yoga is about developing self-awareness and radial self acceptance. Our role is to introduce new experiences, to keep you safe, and to listen to you. Your role is to pay attention to your experience and listen to your own body, so you learn about yourself and stay free of injury.
Throughout classes and sessions, we will encourage you to bring your awareness to your body as it is right now without trying to fix or change it. And then we will provide you with new experiences that facilitate movement, awareness, relaxation, and meditation. Time is left at the end of classes to explore specific postures in depth.
