The Best Green Smoothie

*get your greens in one fell swoop!

*packed with antioxidants, calcium, potassium, and bliss

 

Yield: 4 servings

 

  • 32 oz. coconut water

  • 2-3 cups kale (with stems)

  • 2 ripe bananas

  • 8 ice cubes

  • secret ingredient: 1-2 tsp. cinnamon (takes the bitterness out of the greens!)

  • top with local bee pollen to beat seasonal allergies

  • optional: add 1 cup frozen blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, or pineapple for extra flavor!

 

Blend in a high-power blender (I use a Vitamix) and enjoy immediately.  Add some extra love by pouring your smoothie into some fancy glassware and sipping this bliss with some of your favorite people.
